Build Your Site
Step 3 - Create folders & pages
Now that you have set up your DFC account you can enter the system and begin creating your folders and pages. One unique feature of the DFC system is that as you create your folders and pages, you are also creating your navigation scheme. When you create a folder, the name you give the folder is the name that appears in the navigation bar button. The pages you create within a folder are added to the navigation as the "flyouts" associated with a particular button/folder name. This is illustrated here.
Create Your Folders - Once you have logged on to the DFC content management system, you will see your site's Hub page that lists all of your most recent files, folders, pages, and images (see page 1 of the Overview). Under the "Folders" bar, click the ADD NEW button, and then name your folder (see the Cheatsheet). Remember that the name you give your folder will be the name that appears as a navigation button. You should create all of your folders and then create pages within each folder.
Create Your Pages - Once again, go to your Hub page, under the "Recent Pages" bar, click the ADD NEW button, give your page a title, select from the pulldown its folder, and then click the CREATE PAGE button (see the Cheatsheet). Remember that the Title you give your page is the name that appears in the navigation flyout.
Now that you have create your folders and pages, you are ready to migrate content to your site.
